Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Bridge Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team in the GTA. As a key member of our bridge team, you will work collaboratively with our divisional team across Ontario to deliver high-quality engineering projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a minimum of 20 years of experience in bridge design and construction. You will be responsible for producing and supervising the creation of engineering products, preparing budgets and schedules, and providing technical direction and oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and supervise the creation of engineering products on a wide variety of small to large bridge rehabilitation and new design projects from concept through construction.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules, plan the work, and provide technical direction and oversight.
  • Perform complex technical engineering tasks efficiently and accurately, technically leading and mentoring the bridge team.
  • Check detailed engineering calculations and models, drawings, specifications, quantities and cost estimates, detailed technical reports, procurement documents, design packages, proposals, and detailed analyses.
  • Provide technical support during construction and the review of contractor proposals.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
  • Lead technical dialogue with clients and maintain working relationships with clients.
  • Lead successful project pursuits and determine budget estimates, resource requirements.
  • Manage project teams, control project budgets and schedules and quality control of deliverables.
