Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Efficiency Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Energy Efficiency Analyst, you will provide technical support in the evaluation of demand side management (DSM) programs by analyzing program impacts and producing actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Junior engineering and analysis support; data collection, energy analyses, and project research.
- Primary and secondary data collection efforts, as well as data analysis.
- Conduct evaluation, measurement and verification (EM&V) activities for installed energy efficiency measures.
- Support and assist with input for technical reports by contributing to draft reports, including results and actionable recommendations.
- Support senior staff with the development of presentations and reports
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be a current student registered in a post-secondary STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics) or business program in Canada.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
- Be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
- Consent to release placement information to Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) and the Government of Canada during and after the placement.
- Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
- Availability from September 2024 - April 2025
Preferred Skills
- Experience or education in energy efficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent writing, communication and computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
