We are seeking a Quality Management Systems Specialist to join our team at Plasman Windsor 3 Manufacturing. This role will involve leading the implementation and utilization of cloud-based operational software, managing the Layered Process Audit system, and driving nonconformities to closure.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience in a Quality role and possess IATF Internal Audit training, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 exposure, and ISO/QS Internal Auditing. They will be able to perform well in high-pressure situations, travel independently, and have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the implementation and utilization of cloud-based operational software
  • Managing the Layered Process Audit system
  • Driving nonconformities to closure
  • Maintaining Document control on Plant Policies
  • Performing internal audits and spot audits related to Customer issues
  • Overseeing Plant improvements, including systems for monitoring inspection records, lot traceability, and Corrective Actions
  • Responsible for the primary creation, implementation, and maintenance of applicable ISO 9001/TS 16949/ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental Management Systems at all APP divisions
  • Maintaining system third-party registration files on behalf of all plants
  • Performing essential functions related to assisting third-party registrar assessors during onsite auditing activities for all plants
  • Developing annual internal audit plans based on analysis of previous audit results and scheduling internal audits activities for all plants
  • Managing the planning and scheduling of internal audit activities and assisting in the performance of related internal auditing functions, including internal audit reports and serving as Lead Auditor when required
  • Reporting on internal audit completion status to General Managers through appointed plant management representatives to ensure each facility is effectively engaged in all aspects of internal auditing
  • Promoting process ownership within a team environment in all areas affecting the Quality and Environmental Management Systems
  • Encouraging continual improvement activities in relation to Management System development
  • Complying with and promoting the Quality and Environmental Management Systems in relation to functional activities
  • Ensuring a clean and safe work environment is always maintained
  • Completing any other duties assigned by the Manager

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

The QMS Specialist is responsible for complying with the Company Health & Safety Program, including Occupational Health & Safety Legislation, regulations, standards, and Company Health & Safety policies.
