Job Responsibilities
- Conduit bending and installation
- Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
- Drilling and cable-pulling
- Punctual and reliable presence on worksites
- Following safety programs and policies, wearing appropriate PPE, and attending safety training as required
- Presenting a positive, can-do attitude in the workplace and with clients
- Cutting in and splicing switches, receptacles, and lights
- Using standard construction power tools
Qualifications
- Registration as an apprentice through SkilledTrades BC
- Electrical field experience required
- Commercial or residential construction experience an asset
- Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
- Valid class 5 driver's license preferred
- Adequate knowledge of the CEC
- Will to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts
