About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Horticulturist to join our team at Terra Pacifica Landscaping and Horticulture Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing landscaping projects, ensuring the health and beauty of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement landscaping projects, including the incorporation of landscape structures and the management of landscaping projects.
  • Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective, including crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, and vista pruning.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed.
  • Assess the health of lawns and examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease.
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes.
  • Plant and move trees, and perform tree removal as required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in landscaping or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work efficiently with clients and team members.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
