Meat Cutter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Close To Home Grocery & Deli. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Sell meats to customers
- Grind meats
- Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
- Prepare special orders
Work Environment: Our Meat Cutter will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to have good hand-eye coordination and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 35 to 40 hours per week
