Occupational Therapist I

Carewest Innovative Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Enhanced Regional Community Transition Program (ERCTP). As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment, and discharge planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to clients in a clinical and continuing care setting
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to maximize safe, functional independence
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Provide clinical supervision to support staff and students
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
- Master's or Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program
- Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
- Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)
- Experience in occupational therapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting (an asset)
