Press Technician

At Labelink, we are seeking a skilled Stager to join our team. As a Stager, you will play a crucial role in preparing components for installation and ensuring the smooth operation of our printing press.

• Pre-Installation Preparation: Prepare components for installation, including selecting the appropriate plate bag and cross-referencing details to ensure components are correct.
• Installation: Mount plates onto cylinders, cut sticky back for cylinders, and retrieve the right die from storage.
• Component Removal: Assist with removing components from the press at the completion of each job, clean up the press and components, and return material to storage.
• Quality Control: Check washed plates for defects before placing them into the plate bag and Jaleema folder, and verify all plates from the job are accounted for.
• Maintenance: Clean the Ink Room, die, and store them by numerical number, and distribute clean rags to each press throughout the week.
• Housekeeping: Empties garbage on a consistent basis throughout all shifts.
