We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Aztec Structural Restoration Inc. as a key member of our restoration team.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to construct and repair structures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems to ensure stability and safety.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including industrial plants and other establishments.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
- Work outdoors and in various locations, including construction sites.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to work accurately, make sound judgments, and be reliable.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding environments.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools and equipment.
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
