Job Summary

The Financial Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances and reconciliations.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Area of Specialization: Accounting.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, excellent oral and written communication, judgment, organized, reliable, team player, and time management.
  • Screening Questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment? Do you have the above-indicated required certifications? What is the highest level of study you have completed?
