Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food service standards are met.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting expectations.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Address Customer Concerns

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and be able to walk for extended periods.

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.

Work Conditions

Work 30 to 44 hours per week, and be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
