Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Firehouse Subs. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and dining area, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Hire and manage food service staff.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
