The Centre for Business at George Brown College is seeking qualified candidates for part-time teaching assignments in various business areas. The ideal candidates will have expertise in one or more of the following fields:

  • Accounting and Financial Management: Masters in Accounting or MBA with a focus on Accounting, and industry experience in areas such as financial planning, taxation, and auditing.
  • Finance and Investment: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and industry experience in areas such as portfolio management, investment analysis, and financial markets.
  • Mathematics and Statistics: Masters in Mathematics or Statistics, with expertise in areas such as data analysis, statistical modeling, and mathematical finance.
  • Occupational Health and Safety: Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation and industry experience in areas such as workplace safety, risk management, and compliance.
  • Compensation and Benefits: CHRP designation and industry experience in areas such as compensation design, benefits administration, and total rewards.
  • Human Resources and Labour Relations: Expertise in areas such as labour law, employment standards, and human resources management.
  • Business Computer Applications: Teaching experience and expertise in areas such as business software, data analysis, and information systems.
  • Project Management: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and industry experience in areas such as project planning, execution, and control.
  • International Business and Trade: Expertise in areas such as international trade law, customs, and logistics.
  • Supply Chain and Logistics: Industry experience in areas such as supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation management.
  • Digital Marketing and Analytics: Industry experience in areas such as digital marketing, data analysis, and marketing automation.
  • Marketing and Data Science: Expertise in areas such as marketing research, data analysis, and statistical modeling.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
  • Industry experience in the relevant field
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
