Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, and labourers.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials, equipment, and labour.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production reports and overseeing apprenticeship training.
  • Recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training, and set up machines and equipment.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Recommend personnel actions, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, and supervise a team of more than 20 people.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to work outdoors, in noisy environments, at heights, and in dusty conditions.
  • Ability to travel, and willingness to work flexible hours.
