Job Summary:The Retail Store Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing sales teams, implementing merchandising strategies, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign tasks to sales workers to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they possess the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales growth
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and personnel matters
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education an asset
- 1-6 months of experience in a retail or supervisory role
- Ability to work on-site and manage cash transactions
- Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
