The Senior Maintenance Engineer role is a leadership position within the maintenance department, responsible for managing and implementing best practices to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and environmental compliance.
This individual will provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams, troubleshoot and resolve process or maintenance issues, maintain and repair production equipment systems and facilities, and oversee equipment performance.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, hands-on operating requirements, and root cause analysis tools. They will also be able to investigate and coordinate the resolution of deviations, generate training materials, and conduct training for manufacturing staff.
In addition, this person will identify new technology for assets, assist with user requirements, procurement, and implementation as needed. They will also identify and implement maintenance, safety, and environmental practices, and perform other related duties as assigned.
