Job Title: Planning, Team Lead

Irving Shipbuilding is seeking a highly skilled Planning, Team Lead to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of planners, training staff in job duties and safety procedures, and preparing production and other reports.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in a planning and/or production environment, with a strong background in shipbuilding and supervisory experience. You will be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with multiple conflicting priorities and have strong communication and delivery skills.

Key responsibilities will include managing the creation of job packs in accordance with the integrated master schedule and time fence rules, working closely with production control to feedback updates and changes, and validating and checking detail planner work to ensure quality in schedule and job pack creation.
