Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Review and manage bulk inventory across locations, ensuring accurate levels and efficient transfers.
- Purchase Order Review: Flag and assess inbound purchase orders that do not meet quality standards.
- Packing Plan Creation: Assist in creating and reviewing Mexican and Canadian packing plans daily/weekly.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with employees, growers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Quality Control: Escalate quality concerns to the Commodity Manager and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Interim Commodity Manager: Act as interim Commodity Manager for absence coverage.
- Grower Forecasts: Review grower forecasts for accuracy and completion.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in commodity coordination/allocation.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel and MS Dynamics Nav (or other ERP systems) is an asset.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are essential.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle are required.
- Work Environment: Mainly office setting with some warehouse/greenhouse work as needed.
- Supervision: Working with minimal supervision during the day, but also communicating with different individuals and teams across our facilities and from external organizations.
