Job Summary

Ontario International Airport (ONT) is seeking a skilled Marketing Communications Director to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new domestic and international airline services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer to establish and maintain relationships with key targets and partners to position ONT as Southern California's most desirable low-cost international airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new domestic and international airline services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key targets and partners to position ONT as Southern California's most desirable low-cost international airport.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create dynamic communication initiatives, messages, and creative approaches for programs and activities.
  • Work with tourism partners and airlines to maximize opportunities to attract cooperative funding assistance for marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare complex reports using various software and receive, sort, and summarize material for report preparation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Policy, Psychology, Sociology, or Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree(s) in one or more of the listed disciplines or a related field is a plus.
  • Five or more years of professional experience related to corporate or government marketing and/or communications.
  • Previous professional experience with a commercial airport is a plus.

Work Environment
Climate-controlled office environment. Indoor and outdoor venues where work-related conference, press conferences, tradeshows, and other work-related events might take place.
