About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
    • Lead and motivate a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
    • Coordinate staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance.
  • Manage Food Service Operations
    • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and control costs.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety Standards
    • Implement and maintain quality control and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe food service environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate with Customers and Staff
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to resolve issues and improve operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
