About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Varsteel Ltd. as a key member of our construction department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including selecting trade subcontractors and recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers.
  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors, and plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, and operate CADD and other computer software systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings, and prepare reports to ensure accurate documentation of project progress.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
