Accounting Analyst Role

About the Job

HyLife is seeking a skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team in Neepawa, MB. As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring customer accounts, analyzing discrepancies, and addressing overdue invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor customer accounts and analyze discrepancies to ensure accurate financial tracking.
  • Track, review, and facilitate approval for monetary customer claims.
  • Compile daily and weekly Accounts Receivable reports for effective financial tracking.
  • Generate reports using production information as determined by the company.
  • Ensure that all metrics and reporting processes align with and support the production effort.
  • Assist in reviewing and strengthening Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), directives, and protocols within the finance department.
  • Collaborate in preparing weekly and monthly business unit information for thorough reporting and analysis.
  • Develop new tools, metrics, and SOPs as assigned for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Grade 12; College Diploma in Business preferred.
  • Office experience in Accounting, which is considered a valuable asset.
  • The ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being easily distracted.
  • The capacity to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to specific rules.
  • The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to effectively solve problems.
