We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Scarpetta at the Riviera Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.
Job Summary:The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and machinery.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
The Baker will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
