Job Title: Director, Sales and Marketing

About the Role:

The Director of Sales and Marketing is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team at MNP Community & Sport Centre. This role is responsible for driving membership growth and retention, developing innovative marketing strategies, and leading a dynamic team of marketers and Guest Service team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices in marketing and sales to drive membership growth and retention
  • Lead a team of marketers and Guest Service team members to achieve sales and marketing goals
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement organizational strategy and policy
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Marketing team and Guest Service Manager
  • Leverage technology and software to engage and support members
  • Foster an environment rich in Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion for all members and staff
  • Act as Facility Supervisor on designated shifts and ensure facility-wide safety and emergency procedures are followed

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in marketing or related equivalent
  • At least five years of experience developing and implementing marketing initiatives and providing creative direction
  • At least three years of experience working in the recreation industry or related industry
  • At least three years of experience working in B2C and B2B marketing & sales
