The Victoria Day Care Centre is seeking a dedicated Daycare Worker to join our team. This role is essential in nurturing and guiding young children in their developmental journey.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is necessary.
The successful candidate will work in a child care centre, providing a safe and engaging atmosphere for children.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate children's engagement through storytelling, singing, and crafting activities.
- Support children in developing essential habits related to eating, dressing, and toilet training.
- Document observations regarding children's progress and submit reports to early childhood educators or supervisors.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's development and any challenges faced.
- Maintain knowledge of licensing regulations pertinent to child care.
- Establish and uphold guidelines for appropriate behavior among children.
The role involves supervising a group of approximately 5-10 children.
CertificationsApplicants should possess a Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
