Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Wildpine Residence Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or hospital
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
