Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Audit team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in helping our clients manage risk and improve their financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements
  • Conduct external and internal financial statement audits for both public and private companies
  • Lead field engagement teams and coach and mentor junior staff members
  • Perform analysis of complex accounting issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients
Requirements
  • Accounting/business degree
  • Successful completion of the CFE or working towards a CPA designation
  • 3 - 5 years post-graduate experience in public accounting
  • Experience with ASPE reporting standards
  • Excellent project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
