Senior Accountant Job Description

Driven Brands is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing general accounting month-end close activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries during month-end close
  • Analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports
  • Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
  • Apply principles, theories, and concepts in accounting to analyze data and resolve complex problems
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customer contacts
  • Represent the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership roles

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, or related field
  • 2+ years in a Senior Accountant/Analyst role
  • Audit experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel experience required
  • Knowledge of month-end close process
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field
  • Experience in ERP systems, preferably Oracle
  • Holds CPA, CPA candidate preferred
