Branksome Hall, a leading IB World School for girls in Toronto, is seeking occasional Supply Teachers to work in our Senior and Middle School in various subject areas. The Opportunity:

We are looking for Supply Teachers to work in our Senior and Middle School for the 2024-25 academic year. The successful candidates will join the Senior and Middle School team and report to the Assistant Head, Academics. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution relative to their teaching subject, Ontario Teacher Qualifications in Intermediate or Senior division, and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach various subject areas, including Languages, English, Science, Design, Visual Arts, Music, and Drama.
  • Build a caring rapport with students and work independently with little direct supervision.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilize relevant technology and work in a laptop and online environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution relative to your teaching subject.
  • Ontario Teacher Qualifications in Intermediate or Senior division with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
  • IB teaching experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management skills.
