About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at 911 Construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work long hours.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
