About the Role

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Security Guard. As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of people, assets, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property through effective surveillance and monitoring.
  • Act as a point of contact with authorities and emergency services, providing critical support and assistance as needed.
  • Monitor detainees and maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Complete administrative functions, including reporting and record-keeping.
  • Conduct preventive surveillance rounds to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Available to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Policing or corrections background, or 3+ years of experience as a high-profile security officer.
  • First Aid CPR Level C certification, issued by a recognized organization.
  • Permanent Canadian resident for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Clear criminal background and ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Security Clearance status.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Bilingualism is an asset, depending on the location.
