Job Title: Patient Care Assistant

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Wildpine Residence Inc. in an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

  • As a Patient Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
    • Assisting with mealtime and ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.
    • Transporting residents safely between care facilities and providing support with exercise routines.
    • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
  • Requirements:
    • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
    • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient care role.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
