Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Supervisor to join our team at a high-profile commercial site in Winnipeg. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and secure environment through effective risk management and incident response
- Plan, direct, and coordinate security operations to ensure seamless execution
- Develop and implement procedures and policies to enhance security and compliance
- Monitor and maintain protection systems, including fire, theft, and disaster response
- Create and manage site schedules, track training, and ensure emergency equipment is readily available
- Access control and entry/exit point management using available equipment
- Perform regular patrols to maintain order and establish presence
- Ensure identified doors are locked and secured
- Enforce property regulations and city bylaws
- Respond to complaints and take corrective action
- Observe and report incidents, deficiencies, or issues
- Protect client assets from theft, assault, and other safety concerns
- Complete daily reports, maintenance logs, and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain good staff relationships
- Be the first point of contact for emergency responders
- Monitor CCTV and document systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience as a Security Supervisor in a high-profile site (asset)
- 1-3 years of experience in personnel management in a unionized environment
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
- Customer service-oriented
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and make decisions
- Process-oriented approach
