About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team at Genuine Canadian Corporation. As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, offering assistance, and providing product information.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team and management to meet and exceed sales objectives and operational standards.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, following cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with merchandising, marketing, and maintaining visual standards to create an engaging shopping environment.
  • Secure company assets by following loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Develop retail skills by completing company training as required.
  • Receive and process company product accurately and efficiently, upholding the organization of the backroom.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly store housekeeping duties as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and outwardly-friendly work environment for all employees.
  • Comply with all company and store policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Retail experience is an asset.
  • High energy and enthusiastic team player.
  • Effective communication and people skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Flexible retail availability, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to move and replace fixtures, shelves, and hardware throughout the store.
  • Ability to use ladders on a frequent basis.
  • Capacity to stand for long periods.
