Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Trans Can Trucking is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient driving record.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to company schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient driving record, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle's equipment, including brakes, tires, and lights.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate delivery schedules and routes.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
