About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and communities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, families, and communities, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. They will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, promote health education, and advocate for patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to identify goals and priorities, and develop individualized care plans
  • Deliver health education and promote chronic disease self-management to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
  • CURRENT registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams
