Brown and Caldwell is seeking an experienced Design Team Lead Coordinator to support projects in our Western Business Unit.

This role will be based in our Vancouver office, with hybrid work arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with project managers and design managers to provide lead coordination on engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate the production of digital and hardcopy design submittals for client review, including reports, drawings, specifications, and other deliverables.
  • Maintain master specification lists, drawing lists, action item lists, consolidated comment logs, decision logs, and other design-related lists/logs as needed.
  • Assist with daily local project and national design needs, as assigned by the design manager, project manager, or technical staff.
  • Lead team coordination and communication efforts, building relationships with design managers and team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience in a professional office setting required; experience in project coordination and construction specification standards/EJCDC in the A&E and construction industry preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with skills in Power Point, Project, SharePoint, Bluebeam, and ProjectWise a plus.
  • Ability to anticipate project needs and identify work assignments independently.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) essential.
  • Successful candidate will be proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the role.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize required.
  • Ability to work under multiple deadline pressures required.

Salary Range: $87,000 - $119,000
