About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Healthcare Team Lead to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff and other clinical team members in our designated unit(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Supervision: Apply established criteria and prioritize admissions/intake, lead and facilitate actions related to daily patient flow, plan for patient discharge and appropriate patient placement/referral.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Supervise nursing and nursing support staff, coordinate the work of the clinical team overall on a day-to-day basis, observe work and correct where necessary.
  • Patient Care and Safety: Monitor the quality of care and the safety of patients, assign and adjust work assignments, schedules, and coordinates staff, monitor and may authorize staff hours of work.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Three years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one year of supervisory experience
  • Completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area
