Job Title: Quality Manager

Join the Government of Northwest Territories in a challenging and rewarding role as a Quality Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the quality, risk, and best practices programs and services in the Northern region of the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement quality and risk management programs
  • Provide support and advice on healthcare quality management and incident investigation
  • Oversee the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of quality and safety programs
  • Conduct in-depth investigations into patient safety incidents, critical incidents, and unusual occurrences
  • Support investigations in other regions as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Allied Health
  • Minimum 7 years of work-related experience in a health or social services discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team
  • Good standing with the College and Association of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (CANNN)
  • Satisfactory criminal record check
  • Proof of current up-to-date immunization status
