Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of painters and decorators, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of painters and decorators to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
- Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
- Recommend personnel actions and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
- High school graduation certificate and relevant training or certifications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
