We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Commissioners Minimart. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of retail staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel.
- Manage Sales Floor: Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, visually appealing, and stocked with merchandise.
- Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures.
- Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
