The Role

We are seeking an experienced Condominium Manager (Community Manager) to join our Red Deer branch. As a licensed professional, you will be responsible for supporting the operations and management requirements for a portfolio of condominiums located in Red Deer. This role requires strong customer service and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with board members to ensure the terms of our management agreement are met.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Managing properties within the building portfolio, including overseeing facility operations, liaising with owners/tenants/clients, and ensuring contractor standards are met.
  2. Providing bottom-line accountability for contract operational results, including Key Performance Indicator components.
  3. Implementing contract budgets and controlling expenditures per budget figures.
  4. Managing and supervising Magnum York site employees.
  5. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with directors, owners, clients, tenants, contractors, and suppliers.
  6. Providing guidance to directors and owners on pertinent legislation and statutory requirements.
  7. Promoting Magnum York systems and processes.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in property management.
  • Previous experience managing maintenance, mechanical projects, and subcontracted services is preferred.
  • A valid real estate license (Condominium Management Associate) through RECA.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, computerized accounting systems, and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, administrative, and accounting processes.
  • Demonstrated organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of CPA and regulations, familiarity with condominium bylaws.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer care and client management skills.
  • A valid Driver's License, clean Driver's Abstract, and access to a vehicle.
  • A clean Criminal Record Check will be required for the successful candidate.
