Senior Scientific Director for Mental Health Policy

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scientific Director to lead our Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong track record of interdisciplinary research, informing mental health and addiction policy and practice. You will lead a team of scientists and operational support staff, championing excellence through local, national, and international collaborations.
About the TeamYou will be part of a world-leading scientific community dedicated to advancing scientific discovery in population and community mental health, reducing the burden of mental illness, substance use, and addictions.
Responsibilities- Lead the IMHPR, shaping its vision for advancing scientific discovery in population and community mental health.
- Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in all work, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Champion excellence through local, national, and international collaborations.
- Provide leadership in an evolving research environment, forming multi-centre collaborations.

Compensation PackageThis role offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a comprehensive pension plan, flexible work arrangements, and professional development opportunities.
