About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team at Thurber Engineering Ltd. as a Project Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of engineering specifications and drawings, participating in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations, and preparing project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to engineers and other team members, including reading blueprints, conducting field surveys, and inspecting construction materials.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.
  • Organizational Skills: Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
