Job Title: Travel Consultant

Are you passionate about travel and customer service? Do you have a knack for recommending suitable products and providing excellent travel information? We are seeking a skilled Travel Consultant to join our team at Traventions Travel & Tourism.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist our clients with their travel needs. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for attending to financial transactions, investigating new travel areas, and making transportation and accommodation reservations using our computerized system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance
  • Recommend suitable products to clients
  • Investigate new travel areas, hotels, and other amenities
  • Make transportation and accommodation reservations using our computerized system
  • Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options, and travel costs
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience in the travel industry an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and initiative
  • Reliability and team player
