Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team as a Lead in Transportation Infrastructure. As a key member of our Municipal/Land Development Transportation Design Group, you will be responsible for coordinating traffic counts, calculating growth rates, trip generation, assessing traffic impact at access locations/nearby intersections, and compiling recommended roadway improvements.

You will also attend and prepare presentations for Public Open House/Planning Committee Meetings, utilize knowledge of current industry practices and standards, undertake engineering analysis following these approved standards and procedures, manage and mentor junior staff, and manage client relationships on a per-project basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering – Interest or Concentration in Transportation
  • Field or Site Work experience an asset (survey, inspection)
  • Knowledge of the following software would be an asset: 8 Traffic software, Rodel-v1Win (Roundabout software), AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent communication skills, technical writing skills
