Head Chef for Moby's Pub

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team at Moby's Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
The successful candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of cooks.
Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and prepare menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Supervise and train a team of cooks, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain high standards of quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Diploma or certificate in culinary arts.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Competitive salary ($60,000 - $80,000 per year).
