Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at Highview Restoration Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work as needed.
  • Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment

As a Construction Trades Helper, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often outdoors, and may be exposed to varying weather conditions. You will be required to lift heavy loads and work at heights, making physical stamina and attention to detail essential for this role.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
