At Metro Supply Chain, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Returns Processing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems to ensure seamless access to inventory information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and reporting feedback to management.
  • Liaise between warehouse staff and customers to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues.
  • Verify inventory counts against automated records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Investigate and report variances to management to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Conduct incidental audits of orders and receipts to preserve the integrity of our Warehouse Management System.
  • Coordinate and participate in scheduled physical inventories to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Assist management in optimizing space utilization and availability.
  • Process damaged inventory and participate in month-end cut-off procedures.
  • Communicate directly with clients on a daily basis and provide required reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of previous inventory coordinating experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory control using a Warehouse Management System, preferably Red Prairie (RP).
  • Clamp experience is an asset.

Education:

  • Completion of secondary school is preferred.

  • Report any hazards you find in the workplace to your supervisor.
