Job Title: Retail Stock Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Stock Associate to join our team at Essentials Bazar. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized stockroom, receiving and processing inventory, and ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process inventory shipments, including unpacking and counting items
  • Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, including shelving and storage areas
  • Restock shelves and display areas to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Process customer transactions, including operating a cash register and handling customer returns
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a retail or stockroom environment an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
